Introduction to Electrical & Electronic symbols

Experiment 02

Tools: Screw drivers, Pliers, Hammers, Wooden saw, Hand drill, Twist drill.

Experiment 03

Wire Splicing & Termination: Necessity of wire splicing & termination, Western Union Splice, Married Joint Splice.

Experiment 04

Single Branch Splice, Double Branch Splice, Tap Joint for Stranded Wires, Flexible Cord Splicing, Pigtail joint.

Experiment 05

Switches: Surface Switch, Flush Switch, Pull Switch, Grid Switch, Architrave Switch, Rotary Snap Switch, Push Button Switch, Quick Break Knife Switch, Lamp Holders, Socket Outlet, Main Switch, Distribution Fuse Board.

Experiment 06

Protective devices: Relay.

Experiment 07

Protective devices: Circuit Breaker & Fuse.

Experiment 08

Illumination: Fluorescent Lamp with thermal starter & glow starter.

Problems on Illumination Theory.

Internal wiring of a building with 3φ& 1φ Supply. Lamp circuits: Simple circuit for bed room & staircase, series parallel circuit.
